Board of Elections and Registration
Mission
The Cherokee County Elections Office is committed to providing superior bipartisan service to all Cherokee County citizens. We pledge to:
- Conduct our elections in a secure manner with integrity and kindness.
- Conduct our elections in accordance with the Federal Election Code, Georgia Election Code, and State Election Board Rules.
- Provide information to the citizens of Cherokee County on election and voter registration-related issues.
- Encourage voter participation.
Board Meetings
The Cherokee County Board of Elections and Registration was re-established on July 1, 2023. The Board consists of five members, of which four of the members are appointed for two-year terms by the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners.
Board Meetings are generally held on the first Monday of each month excluding meetings that fall on and after elections in which the board oversees tabulation and certifies election results.
All board meetings will be held at The Bluffs, Cherokee Hall, 1130 Bluffs Pkwy, Canton, GA 30114.
