Requirements for Qualifying

Various offices have different requirements for those who wish to run. It is the applicant’s responsibility to determine what the qualifications are, and that they are met. For more information, visit Georgia’s Secretary of State’s website.

Qualifying Information

Qualifying for the upcoming General Primary starts on March 4, 2024, and goes through March 8, 2024. Contact your party for times and locations and to get qualifying information. Non-partisan candidates will qualify at the Elections office located at 193 Lamar Haley Parkway, Canton, GA 30114.
