Requirements for Qualifying

Various offices have different requirements for those who wish to run. It is the applicant’s responsibility to determine what the qualifications are, and that they are met. For more information, visit Georgia’s Secretary of State’s website.

Qualifying Information

Qualifying for the upcoming Board of Commission District 1 Special Election shall be held at the Elections Office located at 193 Lamar Haley Pkwy, Canton, GA 30114, beginning 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on June 2, 2025, and June 3, 2025, and on June 4, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The qualifying fee shall be $900.
